2026 Nebraska CASA State Conference Awards Nomination

The Nebraska CASA Association is proud to recognize individuals and programs making an extraordinary difference in the lives of children and families involved in the child welfare system. Awards will be presented during the 2026 Nebraska CASA State Conference on August 21–22, 2026.
We invite anyone who wants to recognize outstanding commitment to children to submit nominations for the following awards:
Award Categories
• New CASA Volunteer of the Year – Recognizes a CASA volunteer with one year or less of service since being assigned their first case who has demonstrated exceptional advocacy, dedication, and compassion for children.
• Veteran CASA Volunteer of the Year – Honors an experienced CASA volunteer with more than one year of service who has demonstrated sustained commitment and outstanding advocacy for children and families.
• CASA Program Excellence Award – Recognizes a local CASA program demonstrating innovation, growth, collaboration, volunteer recruitment success, and/or improved outcomes for children.
• Lifetime Commitment to Children Award – A prestigious legacy award honoring an individual whose long-term dedication has significantly impacted Nebraska children involved in the child welfare system.
• Judicial Leadership in Child Welfare Award – Recognizes a judge who demonstrates exceptional leadership, collaboration, and commitment to child-centered justice and the mission of CASA.
• Child Welfare Champion Award – Honors a Nebraska DHHS/Child and Family Services professional who has demonstrated outstanding dedication, collaboration, and advocacy on behalf of children and families.
