The 5k Superhero Run for CASA benefits the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program. When home is no longer safe for a child, and the child must enter the foster care system, a judge may appoint a committed volunteer called a CASA to advocate for a child's best interest and be that child's voice in court. CASAs are volunteers that require no special background in child welfare. It's a CASA's desire to help a child in need that makes them SUPER! Come help raise awareness about child abuse within our community by participating in the 5K Superhero Run for CASA and dressing up as your favorite superhero.
